Positive Activities

What is Positive Activities?

Positive Activities are term-time after school provision and holiday projects for young people aged 0-19 (and up to 25 with additional needs or a disability) that live in or are educated in the London Borough of Barnet. We provide a wide range of programmes such as Arts, Music, Sports, Educational workshops, Adventurous Activities and Media and Technology. The programmes run across a number of locations within the borough.

The project aim is to give young people the opportunity to learn, progress and thrive and to support the development of each individual to reach their full potential through low cost or free activities.

Evidence shows that how young people spend their leisure-time really matters. Participation in constructive leisure-time activities, particularly those that are sustained through the teenage years, can have a significant impact on young people’s resilience and outcomes in later life.
