Lunar New Year 2023 begins on Sunday 22 January and ends on Sunday 5 February. Lunar New Year is celebrated throughout many Asian cultures. Among those are Chinese, South Korean, Vietnamese, Singaporean, Malaysian, Filipino and Indonesian culture. Each country has its own name for Lunar New Year.

As part of the Lunar New Year celebrations this year, Barnet's 0-19 Early Help Service are inviting children and young people to participate in activities that are focusing on celebrating Asian culture. From Asian Cooking to origami making to Digital photography exploring asian culture through photgraphy and many more - we have so many to choose from.

Spaces are limited, so click the book now buttons below to get booked onto any of our wonderful activities!

We also want to highlight any Lunar New Year festivals and community events thats are happening across the borough. So we will also share details of those events on this page as well.
