Explore East Asian Influence on Theatre and Cinema Parents and Children 7 - 19 Yrs workshop

For the 2023 February half term we will be celebrating Lunar New Year. During this session we will be exploring East Asian history and culture and its influnce on the film and theatre industries. We want to invite as many young people as possible to access our Lunar activities and workshops. We will be advertising and sharing more information in the new year so please keep a look out for this information.

During this session the guest speaker will discuss their history and culture and their career within the film and or theatre industry.

This event has now been opened up to children aged 7 -12 years old. Parents and carers of children aged 7 – 12years old will need to  accompany their children  and  stay with them for the duration of the workshop.

Please note that each ticket or place is for one child and one grown up and the parent/carer is to stay with their child throughout the workshop.

Please note: All courses are subject to change or cancellation at the discretion of the Barnet Children's Service.

Please note parents/carers will not be able to park in the Staff car park. There is free parking on all the side roads 2 minutes walk from Canada Villa Young People's Centre.

Also parents/carers will not  be able to wait on site. There will be a drop off and collect point only. If you would like certain children to be grouped or paired together due to them being friends or due to travel arrangements, please can both parents/carers let the tutor know before the workshop starts.
