Fun on the Water Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Workshop: Balance, Paddle, Explore

Ready to try something new and take on the water in a fun and exciting way? Join us for our Fun on the Water stand-up paddleboarding workshop, a beginner-friendly experience all about building confidence, balance and having fun.

This engaging two-hour session is perfect for complete beginners, giving you everything you need to get started safely and enjoy your time on the water.

The session begins with a safety briefing, followed by getting changed into activity wear. You’ll be provided with all the essential equipment, including buoyancy aids, waterproof jackets and wetsuits if needed. Before heading out, you’ll take part in a short land-based introduction to help you get used to the board and paddling techniques.

Once you’re ready, it’s time to get on the water. You’ll spend around 1 hour and 15 minutes afloat, taking part in:

  • Basic paddleboarding skills and balance techniques
  • Fun games and team challenges
  • Friendly races and water-based activities
  • A short guided journey on the water

After your session, you’ll return your equipment, get changed and be ready for collection.

For sessions specifically designed for SEND participants, an additional coach will be on the water to provide extra support and ensure everyone can fully take part.

This workshop includes:

  • A supportive, beginner-friendly introduction to paddleboarding
  • All equipment provided, including safety gear and clothing
  • Guidance from experienced and friendly staff
  • Fun, active sessions that build confidence and teamwork

It’s a great opportunity to try something different, get active and enjoy being out on the water in a safe and welcoming environment.

Don’t miss out — get ready to balance, paddle and explore.
