Fun on the Water Kayak Workshop: Paddle, Play, Explore

Ready to try something new and dive into an exciting water adventure? Join us for our Fun on the Water kayak workshop, a beginner-friendly experience designed for fun, confidence and teamwork.

This engaging two-hour session is perfect for those new to kayaking. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be guided through everything you need to feel safe, comfortable and ready to get on the water.

The session begins with a safety briefing, followed by getting changed into activity wear. You’ll be provided with all the essential equipment, including buoyancy aids, waterproof jackets and wetsuits if needed. Before heading out, you’ll take part in a short land-based introduction to get familiar with the equipment and basic skills.

Once you’re ready, it’s time to get afloat. You’ll spend around 1 hour and 15 minutes on the water, taking part in:

  • Basic kayaking skills and techniques
  • Fun games and team challenges
  • Friendly races and water-based activities
  • A short guided journey on the water

After your time on the water, you’ll return equipment, get changed and be ready for collection.

For sessions specifically designed for SEND participants, an additional coach will be on the water to provide extra support and ensure everyone can fully enjoy the experience.

This workshop includes:

  • A supportive, beginner-friendly introduction to kayaking
  • All equipment provided, including safety gear and clothing
  • Expert guidance from experienced and friendly staff
  • Fun, active sessions that build confidence and teamwork

It’s the perfect opportunity to try something new, get active and enjoy time on the water in a safe and supportive environment.

Don’t miss out — get ready to paddle, play and explore.
