This programme includes three special days of activity:
These sessions focus on building core skills, practising self‑defence techniques, developing fitness, and boosting confidence through structured games and interactive training.
On the third day, children will take part in a rehearsal session, preparing a short, dynamic showcase piece that highlights the skills they’ve learned. They will then perform as part of the Barnet Youth Shine & Share Showcase, giving them a unique opportunity to step into the spotlight, share their achievements, and shine with pride.
This final day celebrates teamwork, effort, and confidence - an exciting and memorable experience for all involved.
I’m Olayemi Williams, founder and instructor of Krav Maga Olayemi – a one-man band dedicated to teaching authentic self-defence through the powerful system of Krav Maga.
With over 14 years of training experience, I’ve had the privilege of learning and now teaching this life-changing discipline. My journey began with a simple goal: to protect myself and my family. That goal evolved into a passion for empowering others with the confidence and skills to stay safe.
Krav Maga is a practical and inclusive self-defence system designed for everyone – regardless of age, size, or background. In my classes, we focus on defending against real-world threats such as strikes, weapons, and multiple attackers. It’s not just about techniques; it’s about building awareness, resilience, and life skills.
I teach the way I was taught – in a fun, friendly, and respectful environment that values understanding the “why” behind every move. My biggest achievement isn’t just earning a Second Dan Black Belt – it’s the courage it took to walk into my first class and begin this journey.
My mission is to make a positive impact on the community by helping people feel confident, secure, and empowered in their surroundings.
