Graffiti Jam: Express Yourself

This hands-on graffiti workshop is all about making your mark. Designed for teens, it’s a chance to dive into the world of street art, explore bold lettering, experiment with bright colours, and create eye-catching designs that reflect your personality and vision.

Whether you're into sketching, tagging, or just curious about the art form, this session offers a safe and inspiring space to learn, create, and collaborate. No experience needed—just imagination and a willingness to try something new.

What to expect:

  • Learn the basics of graffiti and street art techniques
  • Explore colour, composition, and lettering styles
  • Create your own piece with guidance from experienced artists
  • Discover how graffiti can be a powerful form of self-expression
  • Gain an AQA Unit Award accreditation for your participation and creative work

This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to explore their creativity, build confidence, and connect with others through art. Whether you're a future muralist or just looking to try something different, there’s something here for everyone.

All abilities welcome. Materials provided. Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your spot.

 

What’s included?

  • Camps offer 4 hours of activities per day, fully funded (worth £25 per child per day)
  • No cost to BACE-eligible families
  • No charges for food
  • Options available: some camps have the option to pay to extend your day - you can do this direct with the provider

Barnet Council's Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) programme offers young people exciting opportunities to get involved in their communities, learn new skills, and take part in adventurous challenges.

A DofE programme is a real adventure from beginning to end. It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from. You just need to be aged between 13-25 and realise there's more to life than sitting on a sofa watching life pass you by!
