In this workshop, participants will learn how to use a stationary camera and basic animation software to make films from their own original charcoal drawings.
Brought to you by charity Packed Lunch Productions, specialists in visual storytelling, this exuberant workshop is for all levels of animation and drawing ability, even complete beginners. Guidance is provided, and so are the materials.
All you'll need to bring us your mobile phone, complete with the Stop Motion Studio app.
We produce original studio content and learning programmes that build partnerships, nurture talent and provide platforms for creatives across all these areas, developing multi-media work at once relevant, resonant and real.
Our creative practice was founded in 2016 with the Figuration studio, a private enterprise where our passions and expertise in animation, fine art production and public engagement enabled integrated, bespoke projects that supported learning and creative endeavour from a host of partners. With Packed Lunch, we take this further with a not-for-profit entity promoting diverse engagement, and providing opportunities and platforms to develop and showcase skills, in visual storytelling mediums.
At Packed Lunch, we start with people and the stories they have (or need!) to tell, providing skills, facilitating experiences and developing visual assets that contribute to professional growth, learning, increased confidence and creative communication.
