Barnet EN5 2UN
Every school holiday, we offer primary school children on free school meals a nutritious two-course meal cooked on the premises and a range of art and craft, food, sports and outdoor activities and games. Children are encouraged to practice their social and team-building skills through helping out with preparing and clearing tables etc. Our sessions run for 4 hours per day with a 2 hour sports session prior to the main lunch club session.
HAF spaces are funded by the Department of Education. A four-hour funded day is valued at £19.00 per person per day. The cost to BACE eligible parents/guardians is £0.00. This offers children on the HAF programme the opportunity to attend their day at a heavily discounted rate.
The Rainbow centre supports locals in all areas of life, from education, activities for all to health and wellbeing. We provide a safe and fun environment for children and adults of all ages and backgrounds. Our mission is to help the community grow stronger together. We value diversity, inclusion, and respect. We celebrate the achievements and contributions of our members and volunteers. We strive to make the Rainbow centre a place where everyone feels at home.
The Rainbow Centre is operated and managed by Barnet Community Projects Registered Charity No : 1139376
