DofE Gold Award Ashmole School Only 2022-2023

Welcome all participants, old and new, to your Barnet Gold DofE application for 2022-23!

This is the enrolment section for your child's Gold DofE Award. 

Successful applicants will be granted enrolment on to the award, with access to eDofE, and will also be enrolled on to the Barnet Borough DofE Expeditions as per the dates written below. 

This application is to ensure that your child can enrol on the award when they have not been able to within their own school, college, or centre, or have decided to complete this independently.  This opportunity however does have limited spaces and thus Barnet 0-19 Early Help Service will be working on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis for all places. 

Enrolling through the online system allows you and us to keep a track of where your application is at. If you do encounter any trouble throughout this process or have any questions, then please contact us at DofE@Barnet.gov.uk 

We must make it clear that numbers for expeditions are capped and therefore we cannot guarantee that everyone who has applied via the enrolment will gain a place on the borough’s expeditions. We will, however, try our best to ensure everyone is given the opportunity to complete the awards this year.

Please find below the compulsory dates that we have confirmed for the Gold expeditions and training: 

Training day:​ Sunday 19 February 2023 - 10:00am to 4:00pm 

Practice Expedition: Saturday 27 to Tuesday 30 May 2023

Qualifying Expedition: Thursday 24 to Monday 28 Aug 2023

Total cost of the Award: £876.00

**additional £55 added to the total if the kit is requested

If you are enrolling more than one sibling, please make sure you enrol separately for each participant to ensure the places required are secured.
