This October marks the 38th Black History Month in the UK, a time to recognise and celebrate the contributions of Black people to the nation’s economic, cultural, and political life. The national theme for 2025 is “Standing Firm in Power and Pride”—a powerful call to honour heritage, identity, and resilience.

Now in its 4th year, the Positive Activities Black History Month Celebration invites families and young people to come together for a vibrant day of creativity, culture, and community spirit.

Enjoy a fantastic mix of activities including:

  • Arts & crafts
  • Graffiti art
  • Giant lawn games
  • Dance sessions
  • Delicious food and refreshments
