Overview

What is Batik? It is a traditional method of making patterned fabric that uses wax as a barrier to control where the dye is absorbed and repelled. 

Explore the art of creating canvases using these traditional batik techniques and learn how to wax resist and dye to pattern make. You will also learn about the history of this practice. This workshop is suitable for beginners.
