Learn the basics of traditional woodworking as you help make planters out of scaffold boards for our garden at Canada Villa. You will learn how to safely cut wood with a hand saw, how to sand the wood and use a drill and screwdriver to assemble planters. The planters you help make during the project will be used to grow vegetables and flowers.
The Loop is a furniture reuse community project on Grahame Park Estate, run by the charity Groundwork London. We collect old furniture and make it usable again, teaching carpentry, DIY, upholstery and crafts skills at our workshop.
