In celebration of Black History & Culture month, we are offering a brilliant Fashion Masterclass, following the art & cultural references of the multidimensional African diaspora. We will be diving deep into Black History & culture and its influence on Fashion as we know it. Looking at a range of traditional African textiles & cloth, while also taking inspiration from famous African/ Black heritage icons, Virgil Abloh & Diana Ross, to name a few!
In this 3/4-day masterclass, you will have the opportunity to design an Environmentally friendly cotton T-shirt, creating your own brand & design, using a range of materials & crafts available. From Textiles, Cloth, colours, spray paint, cutouts, books, magazines & more. A chance to explore & showcase your passion for fashion!

1:1 Support for SEND Children:
Unfortunately Barnet Council’s Child & Family Early Help Programmes Team are not able to provide 1:1 support workers for a young person to access any of our activities. 1:1 support workers would need to be provided by you as a parent/carer or any professionals (Social Worker/ 0-19 Practitioner) involved with your young person.
If you provide a 1:1 support worker please ensure you email byes@barnet.gov.uk- prior to attending the following:
- 1:1 Support Workers Full Name
- Enhanced DBS details
- Ensure the worker meets the requirements to support a young person with SEND (Special Educational Needs or Disabilities and or Autism).
