Overview

For the Summer Term we are celebrating The Kings Coronation in May. We want to invite as many young people as possible to access our Kings Coronation inspired activities and workshops. As a part of this we will be delivering  SEND Performing Arts Workshops

Love to sing, dance & act, then come and attend this weekly performing arts session for SEND (Special Educational Needs, Disability & Autism) Young People. At the end of each term there will be a short performance/sharing of work which you can invite your family and friends to.

Like the sound of this course? What to do next?
Every young person MUST go through the process below to access the course.
1. Press the 'Login or Register To book' button on the course page and complete and submit a booking.
2. If you have been successful you will receive an email confirmation.
3. Turn up to your chosen course and have FUN!

Don’t forget to spread the word to other young people within Barnet! Watch this space for new and exciting courses that will be advertised on the Barnet Youth website! Please note: All courses are subject to change or cancellation at the discretion of the Barnet Children's Service.

1:1 Support for SEND Children:

Unfortunately Barnet Council’s Child & Family Early Help Programmes Team are not able to provide 1:1 support workers for a young person to access any of our activities. 1:1 support workers would need to be provided by you as a parent/carer or any professionals (Social Worker/ 0-19 Practitioner) involved with your young person.

If you provide a 1:1 support worker please ensure you email byes@barnet.gov.uk- prior to attending the following:

- 1:1 Support Workers Full Name

- Enhanced DBS details

- Ensure the worker meets the requirements to support a young person with SEND (Special Educational Needs or Disabilities and or Autism).

Need to find a 1:1 Support:

Contact Short Breaks Team or Disabled Children’s Team and using your Short Break allocation.

Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately  and has comfortable shoes for a physical activity and bring a bottle of water with them.
