Barnet Mencap 
Advice, information and guidance for parent carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with a learning disability and/or autism or ADHD. As well as workshops on topics of interest and parenting courses.


ThinkUKnow
Provides support to parents during COVID-19 and the closure of schools. Each fortnight, we will be releasing new home activity packs with simple 15 minute activities you can do with your child to support their online safety at a time when they will be opening more time online at home.

Helps children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities and their families find the information and support they are looking for, from across the Barnet local area.

NSPCC
During the coronavirus pandemic, with schools closed and when home isn't a safe place for every child, many children have nowhere to turn for help. They need our Childline counsellors more than ever. We're working hard to ensure we're still here for children.

Young Barnet Foundation
Committed to improving the life chances of all young people living in Barnet. We believe that young people need opportunities for learning and fun, beyond family and formal education, building strong trusted relationships with adults and their peers in the wider community; leading to broadened networks, increased confidence and life skills.

Face (Fighting Against Child Exploitation) 

Is a group of young people, male and female, who are aware of the dangers of grooming and sexual exploitation. 

Their website was developed by them to help other young people who are vulnerable or taking risks. Rising awareness about the dangers out there and giving information on how to stay safe.

Helping Teenagers Beat Gaming Addiction

So many teenagers today have access to games consoles, and many of them regularly play games for long hours; sometimes even suffering from gaming addiction. This seems normal for today’s society, but perhaps parents need to be more aware of the adverse effects that excessive gaming can have on their children.

Kooth

Kooth is a transformational digital mental health support service. It gives children and young people easy access to an online community of peers and a team of experienced counsellors. Access is free of the typical barriers to support: no waiting lists, no thresholds, no cost and complete anonymity.
