For the month of October 2022 we will be celebrating Black History Month. During our SEND Performing Arts sessions we will be exploring Black history and culture to influence our creative process and the performance/sharing of work that will be made. There will be a showcase on Thursday 27th October 2022 to celebrate all the work that young people have created over Black History Month. We want to invite all the young people that access our autumn activities and their families to attend the showcase. Love to sing, dance & act, then come and attend this weekly performing arts session for SEND (Special Educational Needs, Disability & Autism) Young People. No session during half term - w/c Monday 24th Oct 2022!! Please note Parents and Carers will not be able to wait on site. There will be a drop off and collect point. If you would like certain children to be grouped together due to them being friends or due to travel arrangements, please can both parents/carers let the tutor know before the workshop.

This session is facilitated by the Programmes & Traded Services Team within Barnet's 0-19 Early Help Service. Our service delivered over 160 courses and activities to 1800+ young people aged 0-19 last year!
Staff have a wealth of experience delivering group sessions to young people within our two centres, Canada Villa and Finchley Youth Centre, Schools and community settings across the Borough of Barnet.
All staff are DBS checked, trained and fully qualified.
