Overview

Join us on this 3 day cooking workshop at Canada Villa Youth Center.

Bread n Butter CIC is a local Barnet based enterprise that teaches the basic life skill of cooking and healthy, independent and sustainable living.

During this coming October Half Term Bread n Butter will be running hands-on cookery workshops over three days aiming to inspire and empower children to be able to prepare and cook healthy dishes from scratch. Children will also further their knowledge of the key food groups. food provenance plus the perils of a high sugar diet.

Over the three days children will learn a number of recipes and cooking techniques.

The morning junior's session menu is ‘Great British Classics’:

Day 1 - Starter: Chicken Caesar Salad

Day 2 - Main: Cottage pie (veg/vegan option – veg/lentils instead of meat)

Day 3 - Dessert: Apple Crumble with custard

Please note – all meat is Halal, and each meal comes with a vegetarian/vegan option.

Important: Please make us aware of any dietary requirements or allergy information prior to the first cooking session.
