This class is for young people wanting to further their technique, knowledge and understanding of performing and push their passion further by gaining qualifications accredited by LAMDA. Young people can sit solo, group or duo exams following Speech & Drama, Musical Theatre and/or Shakespeare. The group work towards a yearly full scale production, which is completely devised by the groups' exploring issues and themes that they want to express and have a voice on using theatre!

This course has a 10-week term cost of £80 (£8 per week) + Fees for exams.
However, Barnet 0-19 Early Help Programmes Service have 5 FREE funded places for the most vulnerable children and young people within Barnet. To find out if you are eligible please contact The Programmes Team directly on: BYES@barnet.gov.uk you will need to complete a form and provide evidence. No session during half term - w/c Monday 15th February 2021!!For all our face to face delivery we will be following COVID-19 guidance from the government. Venues have been assessed to ensure social distancing practice is in place and activities will follow a strict bubble grouping system. Please note Parents and Carers will not be able to wait on site. There will be a drop off and collect point only.
If your child is unwell or has any of the COVID-19 symptoms, then your child will be unable to attend the session. If you would like certain children to be grouped in the same bubble due to them being friends or due to travel arrangements, please can both parents/carers let us know via email.
• Do not bring food into the setting •For every child to bring a bottle of water with them •For each child to be dressed appropriately for different weathers and ready to participate in the session • Parents and Carers to follow signs of a one way system. • Go to registration point • No parents or carers can stay on site during activity • Equipment will be provided following COVID-19 guidance

Fixation Acadmey of Performing Arts deliver weekly term time classes and holiday courses in High Barnet, Borehamwood and East Finchley (Finchley Youth Centre). Many classes work towards either a show or sharing.
