Welcome all participants, old and new, to your Barnet Silver DofE application for 2020-21!

This is the enrolment section for your child's Silver DofE Award. 

This application is to ensure that your child's can enrol on to the award when they have not been able to within their own school, college or centre, or have decided to complete this independently.  This opportunity however does have limited spaces and thus Barnet 0-19 Early Help Service will be working on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis for all places. 

Enrolling through the online system allows you and us to keep a track of where your application is at. If you do encounter any trouble throughout this process or you have any questions, then please contact us at dofe@Barnet.gov.uk 

We must make it clear that numbers for expeditions are capped and therefore we cannot guarantee that everyone who has applied via the enrolment will gain a place on to the borough’s expeditions. We will, however try our best to ensure everyone is given the opportunity to complete the awards this year.

Please find below the compulsory dates that we have confirmed for the Silver expeditions and training: 

Training day:​ Saturday 11 April 2021, 10am to 4:30pm  

Practice Expedition: Saturday 29 - Monday 31 May 2021 (times TBC)

Qualifying Expedition: Saturday 31 July - Monday 2 August 2021 (times TBC) 

Total cost of the Award: £470.00

*Additional £40 on total if kit is requested

If you are enrolling more than one sibling, please make sure you enrol separately for each participant to ensure the places required are secured.
